e-Science是指在各环节采用先进信息技术提供支持与服务的环境下进行的科研活动以及由此产生的新的科研模式。本文分析了社会科学研究传统方法和该领域信息化工作的局限,探索了社科研究e-Social Science(eSS)的方法和出路:突破传统方法的禁锢,以人机结合的综合集成为方法基础,以网格计算环境、知识系统、科学数据库为物质保障。本文最后展望,eSS提供了社会科学研究新的模式和环境,将带来社会科学研究的创新和科学管理的飞跃,不仅将提高研究效率,研究成果也会更加完美。
e-Science refers to the research activities carried out under the environment of providing support and service with advanced information technology in all aspects and the new scientific research mode. This article analyzes the traditional methods of social science research and the limitation of informatization work in this field, explores the methods and outlets of social science research e-Social Science (eSS): break through the confinement of traditional methods and take the integrated integration of human-machine integration as the method basis , To grid computing environment, knowledge systems, scientific databases for material security.
