老年人糖尿病包括60岁以后发病和早年发病延续到60岁以后的糖尿病患者，其发病率随年龄的增长而增长，我们自1988～1996年3月共施行脑肿瘤切除手术320例，其中伴有糖尿病的老年患者12例（3．8%）。老年人糖尿病的围手术期处理有别于普通糖尿病，具有新的临床特点．现报告如下。
