The especially precocious cotton area in northern China has the advantages of abundant light, concentrated rainfall, large temperature difference between day and night, higher economic yield coefficient and less damage to pests than other cotton areas. However, in cotton production, the most prominent disadvantage is that the heat conditions, ≥ 10 ℃ accumulated temperature just enough precocious cotton breeding needs, often frost damage, after the bloom a large proportion of flowers, so especially precocious cotton area temperature conditions and cotton The relationship between the growth and development of cotton cultivation techniques in the region’s guidance and the cotton area planning is of great significance. Observational studies were conducted at the Shanxi Taigu Shanxi Agricultural University farm. Taigu is located at 37 ° 25’N, 112 ° 35’E and 799.6 meters above sea level with an annual average temperature of 9.8 ° C and an accumulated temperature of 3666.3 ° C at ≥10 ° C (1959-1979 and 1959), frost-free period of 175 days (1960-1978) , Is a particularly precocious cotton area. Cotton production in Taigu each month, ten days, the average temperature in Table 1.
