【简介Introduction】雁栖湖旅游风景区位于北京市怀柔区怀北镇北部云蒙山西行麓,距怀柔县城8公里,距京城60公里。雁栖湖水源来自著名的雁栖河。雁栖河为京郊主要河流之一的潮白河的支流,水量丰富,水质清澈,常有大雁、天鹅等珍禽候鸟在此栖息,故称雁栖湖。燕山脚下的雁栖湖,北面群山绵亘、重峦叠嶂,万里长城隐现其间;东面有元宝山、金灯山,登山远眺,蓝天碧水、绿野田园尽收眼底;南偎一望无际的华北平原,是一处风光迤逦的水上乐园,湖区气候宜人,湖水清纯碧蓝,是开展水上娱乐活动和休闲度假的理想场所。
