我国虽然长期以来不承认取得时效制度,但它却一直是大陆法系民法和英美法系财产法的重要内容。我国在加入WTO之后,不仅经济的高速运转要求我们建立取得时效制度,在法制建设上也应与国际民事立法接轨,随着社会主义市场体制的进一步发展,我国民法上也应当要借鉴外国的成功经验,也要考虑到我国的具体国情,确立与市场经济相协调的取得时效制度。
