There is a metaphor in all languages. Metaphor makes the language fresh and vivid. We often use the flowers, trees, animals and natural phenomena as a metaphor, through sharp contrast, to obtain significant results. Look at the following sentence: She’s like a rose-fresh delicate and beautiful. (This sentence is compared with flowers) We shall not be moved-just like a treestanding by the hill. We will stand like a tree on the hillside. (This sentence is used as a metaphor for the trees) You ass! Carved You stupid ass.How couldyou make such a mistake? You donkey! You stupid donkey!
