乙醇代谢主要途径分为两个阶段,其中有乙醇氧化为乙醛的乙醇脱氢酶(ADH)和乙醛氧化为乙酸的醛脱氢酶(ALDH)。乙醛的毒性是极其严重的,它是酒精性肝损害的主要物质因索,近来也有影响到染色体的报告。日本人以及其他东方人种,欠缺一部分ALDH同功酶的个体,检出率可高达30~60%,而且,由于阐明了这种情况与乙醇症的关系,这里以ALDH同功酶异常的生理意义与乙醇依存物的关系为中心,收集新的资料整理如下:
