工艺润滑剂在轧制过程中主要是通过降低金属与轧辊间的摩擦系数而体现出润滑性能的。只要测出轧制过程金属与轧辊间的摩擦系数,就可鉴别出润滑剂的润滑效果。但是,由于直接测定轧制时金属与轧辊间的摩擦系数是比较困难的,也不易测得精确,所以,目前国内外工程上都采用间接的方法,即测定轧制过程中的一些与摩擦有关的参数来鉴别润滑剂的润滑效果。比较简单和易于采用的方法有:延伸系数法(或变形程度法)、前滑法
