CDBASE-Ⅲ数据库管理系统设有与其他高级语言交换数据的功能,通过产生容量与数据库相当的新文本文件(后缀为.TXT)为媒介,达到二种语言交换数据的目的。由于通过第三者交换数据,转换步骤多、速度慢,难以达到共享数据的要求;文本文件的容量与库相当,大大增加了磁盘空间的开销;就其功能而言,仅限于读取和追加库记录二项。因此,不言而喻,寻找在其他高级语言下直接操作数据库,获得二种语言真正共享数据的途径尤为人们所关注。为此笔者结合工作对此作了有益的探讨,获得了在BASIC状态下直接操作数据库的结果。
The CDBASE-III database management system has the ability to exchange data with other high-level languages for the purpose of exchanging data in two languages by generating a new text file of equivalent capacity and database (suffixed with .TXT). Due to the exchange of data through a third party, the conversion steps and slow, it is difficult to achieve the requirements of shared data; text file size and library considerable increase in the disk space overhead; its function, is limited to read and append Library records two items. It goes without saying that it is of particular concern to look for ways to manipulate the database directly in other high-level languages and to actually share the data in both languages. This author made a useful discussion of this work, obtained the results of the direct operation of the database in the BASIC state.
