美国贸易代表办公室2011年3月1日公布了34家纵容盗版侵权行为的电子商务网站和商品交易市场。中国头号互联网搜索引擎百度和电子商务网站淘宝网均名列其中。此外,倍受外国游客青睐的北京“秀水东街”市场也榜上有名。美国贸易代表办公室在声明中说,中国访问者数量最多的网站百度以“深层链接”的方式提供盗版和侵权产品的链接,这些产品通常储存在第三方网站上。
The U.S. Trade Representative Office announced on March 1, 2011 34 e-commerce sites and commodity markets that condone piracy. China’s number one Internet search engine Baidu and e-commerce site Taobao are among them. In addition, much favored by foreign tourists in Beijing “Xiushui Street ” market is also on the list. The U.S. Trade Representative Office said in a statement that Baidu, the site with the largest number of Chinese visitors, provides links to pirated and infringing products, often stored on third-party websites, in a “deep link” manner.
