On August 24, 2011, Dr. Yang Zhiling from Yunnan University donated a great book “Modern Yunnan Tea Industry Economic Research” (People’s Publishing House, 2009). The book is based on the doctoral dissertation, after careful modification and improvement. After reading, I think this is a good book on the economic history of the tea industry in the region. It deserves the attention of Chinese scholars in the economic history, especially in the economic history of tea industry and the research on the regional economic history of Yunnan.
