我其实不算是个读书多的人,因为我挣钱不多,也便不能去畅快地买书。即便如此,我也总会尽其所能地去读书。我记得清清楚楚,1987年8月我参加工作,第一个月的工资是61元。我骑了35里的自行车,到昌黎县新华书店买了一套上中下三册的《红楼梦》,书皮粉红色,有塑料的光滑。这是一个乡村女教师在17岁半的青涩的年纪、有限的认知里最心仪的书。
In fact, I am not a student who studies hard because I do not earn enough money to buy a book. Even so, I always do my best to study. I remember clearly that in August 1987 I joined the workforce and the first month’s salary was $ 61. I rode 35 bikes to Changhua Xinhua Bookstore to buy a set of three books on the “Dream of Red Mansions”, pink book cover, a plastic smooth.
