Background: A lot of factors may contribute to the development of pharyngeal paraesthesia which is characterized by pharyngeal symptoms and abnormal mental manifestations. In Hilgers opinion, mental stress produced vegetative nerve disorder by affecting central vegetative nerve system, lower thalam.In the current study, we concluded that anxiety and depression were manifested by pharyngeal paraesthesia. It contains two ingredients: flupentixol and melitracen ,and functions by regulating central nerve system and significantly improved anxiety, depression, somatic inadaptation through increasing content of dopamine and monoamine within synaptic cleft. Deanxit is an ideal drug for treating pharyngeal paraesthesia.
