光学灵敏杠杆是万能显微镜和其它同类型的工具显微镜的基本附件.使用时把它套在3倍物镜的滚花圈上可以测量小内孔、端面长度、平行性、直线性、沟槽宽度、螺旋轴体工件、滚刀导程和小模数齿轮等.不过由于光学灵敏杠杆测球半径过大因而不能测量小于5毫米的尺寸.我们把万能测长仪上电眼测量时用的小测球装在万能显微镜光学灵敏杠杆主体上,从而能测量小到1毫米的尺寸.
