The axial coordination reaction of imidazole (Im) with chloro (para-substituted monosubstituted glutamic tetraphenyl) porphyrin iron (Ⅲ) (abbreviated as FeLGluCl) in chloroform was studied. The equilibrium constant K, the standard molar enthalpy change △ H0m and the standard molar entropy change △ S0m were determined by spectrophotometry.
