《淮南子》是汉代易学史上的重要环节。它在接受先秦道家之说的同时 ,继承、发展《易传》的思想成果 ,提出了自己关于宇宙生成、万物起源的理论。它以“道”为最高范畴 ,而“道”是阴阳二气尚未分化的原始物质实体 ,阴阳二气的运动又造成了宇宙万物的变化、发展。它承于《易传》天地人一体观和整体思维方式 ,追求社会和谐安定乃至天人之间、自然与社会之间的整体和谐。基于一种深广的忧患意识 ,它以天地盈虚、盛极必衰之理告诫人们居安思危 ,并发挥《易传》自强不息、刚健有为、积极进取的精神 ,对纯任自然、无所作为的无为之说加以改造。与此相应 ,它弘扬《周易》的变革精神 ,明确主张改革社会政治制度。另一方面 ,它也吸收了《易传》天人之论中不少神秘主义的思想因素。《淮南子》的易学思想与陆贾、贾谊、韩婴等人的易学思想一起构成西汉前期易学的总体格局 ,并清晰地展现出当时思想文化发展的基本走势
“Huainanzi” is an important link in the history of Yi-ology in the Han Dynasty. While accepting the Taoist theory of Pre-Qin Dynasty, it inherited and developed the ideological achievements of Yi Zhuan and put forward its own theory on the formation of the universe and the origin of all things. It takes “Tao” as the highest category, while “Tao” is the original material entity that has not yet been differentiated from the yin and yang. The movement of yin and yang creates the change and development of all things in the universe. It is subject to “Yi Zhuan” heaven and earth view of unity and the overall way of thinking, the pursuit of social harmony and stability and even between heaven and earth, nature and society as a whole harmonious. Based on a deep-seated sense of urgency, it advises people to be prepared for danger in times of victories in the world, prosperous and inevitable, and gives full play to the spirit of self-improvement, vigorousness and initiative in Yi Zhuan To be modified. Correspondingly, it carries forward the spirit of the “Book of Changes” and explicitly advocates the reform of social and political systems. On the other hand, it also absorbs many mystic ideological factors in Yi Zhuan’s theory of heaven and man. The Yi-ology thought of “Huainanzi” together with the Yi-ology thought of Lu Jia, Jia Yi, Han Ying and others constitute the general pattern of pre-Western Yi-ology and clearly show the basic trend of ideological and cultural development
