氧化铝耐火纤维是在70年代石油危机后由英国开发成功的新型绝热保温材料,以后在美、日、德等国得到了广泛应用。它含氧化铝高达95%~72%,具有容重小、热容低、高绝热性、高抗热振性、易施工和寿命长等优点.我国从80年代初开始进行这种材料的研制和生产。洛阳耐火材料研究院研制生产了含氧化铝80%的产品,称为L80,浙江德清纤维厂生产了含氧化铝72%的莫来石耐火纤维迭堆块,称为PMF,河南陕县电器厂会同马鞍山钢铁设计院生产了含氧化铝95%的产品,称为L95。这些材料先后在电阻炉和小型煤气加热锻造炉等炉窑上试用成功,现将其推广使用的部分情况介绍如下。
