学生的学习过程是“以自身的活动来引起、调整和控制”自己与社会之间的交换过程,通过了解外界信息来不断调整自己的行为,因而学习系统是具有自组织性质的开放系统。提高学生自组织能力是网络环境下提高自主学习能力和进行创新性学习的要求,这就要求在设计课程内容时,要自觉而有计划地了解、适应、甚至于顺应学习活动的自组织特点,及时向学习系统提供教学信息的交换,鼓励其自身的正确否定,为其内反馈提供必要的客观依据。
