我省小麦生长前期温度较高,光照充足,分蘖、幼穗形成期短,成穗率低,抽穗成熟期处于光照少,阴雨天多的湿冷升温季节,特别是成熟前30天(3月份)日平均温度达17.9℃,降雨量72.6毫米,几乎每天有雨,日照时数为2.57小时(据广东省气象台广州地区1961—1981年资料统计),光合生产率低,籽粒灌浆期长,穗粒重变化大。据调查全省小麦产量年高年低不稳定,与灌浆成熟期天气有密切关系。七十年代以来,全省各地相继涌现大而积亩产400—500斤的生产队、大队、场(所),800斤以上的高产田。增施肥料是高产的重要因素之一。但往往由于施肥量的增加,加上使用不合理,造成生长过旺,群体大,早期倒伏,或后期氮素过多贪青晚熟,穗
