解放前夕的贵州民营报纸,总体上是趋于进步的。他们对国民党反动派的倒行逆施、贪污腐化、祸国殃民的行径进行大胆揭露,字里行间充满了人民必胜、共产党必胜的进步信念。在当时政治控制十分严格的形势下,这些进步报纸能够在刀丛下生存,靠的是办报人的坚强意志和灵活的处理方式。但最后这些报纸或因政治、或因经济步履维艰,最终停刊或倒闭,存在时间十分短暂。
The private newspapers in Guizhou on the eve of the liberation are generally progressing. They boldly exposed the Kuomintang reactionaries’ actions of perpetrating anti-corruption, corrupting people and disastrous people, and filled with the progress belief that the people win the victory and the Communist victory. At a time when the political control was very strict, these progressive newspapers could survive under the help of their knives and rely on the strong will and flexibility of their correspondents. However, in the end these newspapers have been short lived because of political reasons or the difficult economic conditions that eventually come to an end or are closed down.
