随着农业生产和科学的进一步发展,对土壤图的要求就不仅仅是一张图纸即算满足的了。一定会走向以土壤图为基础的,而联系一连串有关的图幅,这就是我们这次全国群众性土壤普查的特点,是我们土壤科学进一步为生产服务,并在为生产服务的过程中得到了蓬勃发展的标志,是党领导和改造了土壤科学所取得的第一次胜利。因此,我们就有必要根据党所提出的“以土为主,土洋结合,土中出洋”的方针来对每一幅图的内容,制图方法,以及整个图集的内容和方法进行较为详细的讨论,使它能向全世界宣布:我们的土壤科学在农业大跃进里是取得了如何的飞跃发展和辉煌的成就。
