During the war I spent most of my time working on journalism, amateurs writing novels and poems, and writing little shows. In the early days of the liberation of China, I finished my novel Fighting to Tomorrow and felt that the literary level of the workers, peasants and soldiers was a bit difficult to read novels. If I could easily accept them through rap performances, I learned to write two large drums Words, at the same time try to write multi-screen drama. In the summer of 1951, I finished the dramas “Sugar-coated Shells”, participated in the Central and Southern Military Region Arts Festival, and won the Outstanding Drama Award. After the publication of the “People’s Literature,” the script was unexpected. Military troupes in the military and the troupes in various parts of the country staged their performances. Many local operas and vocal groups also transplanted performances.
