白峰溪同志的剧本结集出版,我很高兴。她嘱我写序,我慨然应允。这倒不是我不懂自谦,而是因为我对她的创作情况比较了解。这些剧本及其演出,我都曾不止看过一次。作者的探索和追求、困惑和喜悦,我都是深有所知的。白峰溪从事戏剧工作已近四十年。在我们这一辈人中间,她较年轻,大家直到今天都叫她小白。她过去是演员,在中国青年艺术剧院的舞台上扮演过刘胡兰、文成公主等数十个角色。在长期的艺术实践中,她细心地剖析和真诚地体验各种人物的内心世界,并总是在寻找准确地体现这些人物外部特征和行为的手段。再加上她一贯喜爱文学,喜欢对生活现象进行细致的观察和独立的思考。这无疑对她日后成为一个剧作家是大有益处的。艺术家的成长需要有良好的艺术环境,严格的艺术磨炼和良师益友间的艺术熏陶。白
I am glad that the script of Comrade Bai Fengxi has been published. She asked me to write the order, I generously agreed. This is not because I do not understand modesty, but because I know more about her creative situation. These scripts and their performances, I have seen it more than once. The author’s exploration and pursuit, confusion and joy, I am well aware of. Bai Fengxi engaged in theater for nearly 40 years. Among our generation, she is younger, and everyone calls her white today. She used to be an actor who played dozens of roles such as Liu Hulan and Princess Wencheng on the stage of the China Youth Art Theater. In a long period of artistic practice, she carefully analyzes and sincerely experiences the inner world of various characters and always looks for ways to accurately reflect the external characteristics and behaviors of these characters. Coupled with her usual love of literature, like to observe the phenomenon of life and independent thinking. This undoubtedly benefits her later becoming a playwright.
