君子是炎黄子孙共同推崇的理想人格的代表,是绵延至今的一种人格追求和论人标准,既是儒家文化的精髓,也是传统文化中应该弘扬光大的精华部分。在《论语》中,孔子及弟子在传统“君子”论的基础上对其进行新的阐发。“君子”风范是一种精英标准和塑造目标,也是一种自上而下可追求的理想人格目标,可以说是那个时代近似信仰的一种追求、一种引领。这是《论语》的思想价值所在,是《论语》的伟大创建和突破,具有巨大的现代价值。
