公共卫生局五○年工作计划,前曾有一简稿登本刊第八期。现又经过研究,订出这个详细计划故特重登。工作方针天津市目前是全国轻工业大都市之一,有产业工人三十余万,这占全市人口约六分之一的工人健康问题,将直接影响到生产建设工作,在发展生产、繁荣经济的总方针下,根据中央预防为主、医疗为辅的指示,今年天津市的卫生工作,应以工人保健为首要任务。要打造工厂,大力开展工厂卫生工作。在国统时期,因不注意工人福利,以致工厂卫生工作,毫无基础;解放一年来仅作了些调查工作,但也感不够全面与深入。因此,工厂卫生工作之开展,将是一个艰巨的垦荒过程。
