受国务院委托,国家发展和改革委员会3月5日向十一届全国人大四次会议提交了《关于2010年国民经济和社会发展计划执行情况与2011年国民经济和社会发展计划草案的报告》。报告提出要加快建设重要通道和综合交通枢纽,重点支持客运专线铁路、西部干线铁路等建设。预计到2011年年底,全国铁路营业里程将达9.9万公里,快速铁路通车里程达1.3万公里。
Entrusted by the State Council, on March 5, the National Development and Reform Commission submitted the “Report on the Implementation of the 2010 National Economic and Social Development Plan and the 2011 National Economic and Social Development Plan to the Fourth Session of the Eleventh National People’s Congress.” The report proposed to speed up the construction of an important thoroughfare and an integrated transport hub, with a focus on supporting the construction of passenger dedicated railway lines and western trunk railway lines. It is estimated that by the end of 2011, the national railway mileage will reach 99,000 kilometers and the rapid railway traffic mileage will reach 13,000 kilometers.
