在不锈钢热挤压中玻璃是常用的润滑剂,玻璃粉末被用在热挤压坯料的内、外表面润滑,采用玻璃粉末和玻璃水混合而制成的玻璃垫被用在热挤压过程中的持续润滑,玻璃垫主要起到了隔热、保护挤压模和减小挤压力的作用。玻璃垫的润滑效果直接影响到挤压制品表面质量、工模具磨损程度、挤压力大小以及挤压管前端尺寸稳定性和切头长度。借助60 MN油压卧式挤压机对外径和壁厚之比为12.7的不锈钢管进行热挤压试验,并对其使用的玻璃垫形状进行优化设计。通过玻璃垫形状的优化设计,避免了挤压制品前端叉口现象,缓解了挤压管前端偏壁和工模具磨损,减少了玻璃粉用量,降低了挤压力峰值。

Through the optimized design of the glass mat shape, the phenomenon of the front fork of the extruded product is avoided, the front wall of the extruded pipe and the tool wear are alleviated, the amount of the glass powder is reduced, and the peak of the pressing force is reduced.
