几年前,我去德国汉堡参加了一个国际学术研讨会,结识了一位德国女汉学家布海歌博士(Dr.Helga Burger)。她曾在慕尼黑大学、汉堡大学的汉学系学习过中国语言文化,获得汉学博士学位。她在中国生活过18年,对东方戏剧尤其是中国古典戏剧有特别的研究。我在大学中一直教中国古典文学,因而我们有许多共同的话题。我应邀在她家中小住半月,闲暇之时常常聊天。她感兴趣的话题大多与妇女在生活中的角色及独立性有关,我觉得她多少有些女权主义者的味道。一日,我们谈及中国古典戏剧。我意在抛砖引玉,听听这位德国女学者的观点。布海歌兴致盎然,就中国戏剧中的女角色这一话题侃侃耐谈。滔滔一番见解,倒
A few years ago I went to Hamburg, Germany, to attend an international symposium, met a German female scholar Dr.Helga Burger. She studied Chinese language and culture at the Department of Sinology at the University of Munich and the University of Hamburg and received a Ph.D. in Sinology. She has lived in China for 18 years and has special studies on Oriental drama, especially Chinese classical drama. I have been teaching Chinese classical literature in college, so we have many common topics. I was invited to stay in her house for a long time, often chatting in my spare time. Most of the topics she is interested in are related to the role and independence of women in life, and I think she feels somewhat feminist. On the first day, we talked about Chinese classical drama.
