1996年冬天的一个早晨,彝族汉子李永顺与段华昌、罗加才、吕忠红一行四人自安宁市青龙镇出发,沿螳螂川顺水而下,开始了他们的探险历程。因为他们听说在下游不远的地方,躲藏一位天真未璞,奇丽无比的姑娘,所以想去一睹她的芳容。李永顺等人挨河床步行9公里许,隔河相向,透过薄雾看到一片浓绿的山林。他们拨开雾帐,(足尚)过齐胸深的河水,自左岸登上了右岸,脚一落地,便像一群醉汉一般,拜倒在了姑娘的石榴裙下……
