对电缆进行充气维护,能及时发现电缆外护套漏气情况,以防止电缆芯线或内导体受潮。充入深度干燥的气体还能提高电缆绝缘强度,对提高电缆的通信传输质量,预防非破坏性障碍发生,保证通信畅通都起着很重要的作用。 电缆充气维护方式有两种:一种是定期充气维护制,另一种是自动充气维护制。 我国从1958年开始电缆采用充气维护,至今已有30余年的历史。随着电缆充气技术的发展,充气设备的系列化和标准化正在逐步形成。
