氮基气氛热处理的应用方兴未艾。人们不断寻求着简便、经济的制氮方法。通常提取氮气多采用深冷分离法和用石油、液化气控制催化燃烧的方法。前者设备复杂,后者提取的氮气纯度低,含有不少杂质和水分。八十年代初,美国Kemp公司开发了非燃烧法制氮装置。采用碳分子筛变压吸附制氮(P.S.A)。具有简单、可靠、经济地得到高纯度气氮的优点,但是产气量小,设备体积大,而且需要再生。八十年代的又一项非燃烧法制氮技术——薄膜气体分离技术由美国陶氏化学公司开发并已成功地用于美国的几家热处理工厂
Nitrogen-based atmosphere heat treatment applications in the ascendant. People are constantly seeking simple and economical methods of nitrogen production.
