中国青年政治学院是共青团中央唯一一所直属院校,作为团中央书记处第一书记和中国青年政治学院的院长,陆昊同志对中国青年政治学院发展给予高度重视,对毕业学生寄予深切厚望。2008年6月,他以一个新任领导、也以一个兄长的身份在中国青年政治学院毕业典礼上,以6月14日胡锦涛总书记在团中央新一届领导班子同志座谈会讲话为背景,对毕业生提出了具体要求和诚恳建议。他要求年轻人要时刻铭记胡总书记的期望:要坚定理想信念,勤奋刻苦学习,勇于艰苦创业,培养高尚品德。他建议青年人要有精神追求,要坚持继续学习,勇于面对困难。这些期望和建议殷实中肯,有利于大学生以及青年人在未来的人生道路上走得更加坚实,也使他们终身受益。
China Youth Political College is the only one directly affiliated to the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. Comrade Lu Hao, the first secretary of the CYL Central Secretariat and president of the China Youth Political College, attached great importance to the development of the China Youth Political College and placed great hopes on the graduating students . In June 2008, at a graduation ceremony of China Youth Political College, with a new leader and an elder brother, General Secretary Hu Jintao addressed the forum of the leading group for the new leadership of the CYL Central Committee on June 14, Graduates made specific requests and sincerely suggestions. He demanded that young people always keep in mind General Secretary Hu’s expectations: to strengthen their ideals and conviction, work diligently and hard-working, be brave in pioneering work and cultivate noble moral standards. He suggested that young people should pursue their own spiritual aspirations. They should continue studying and be bold in facing difficulties. Their genuine expectations and suggestions are conducive to the fact that college students and young people are taking a firmer path in their life and benefiting them for life.
