Heart transplantation was used to evaluate the effect of experience accumulation on the outcome. Previous studies from surgery found that there was a clear consensus between experience and quality (ie, mortality and complications), but with regard to experience and cost-cost relationships Seldom studied. The traditional surgical research or management model was used to influence the design experience on the four measurements of cumulative average resource consumption (mortality, length of hospital stay, accounting units, and fees). This model is now modified to use A study of heart transplant experience. The resulting data agrees with this pattern. The steepest point in this empirical curve is mortality, and the flattest point is cost. This article discusses possible implications for the overall consideration of planning and management of research institutions and health service facilities.
