随着2016年里约奥运会的落幕,七人制橄榄球正式成为奥运会比赛项目,斐济队成为了金牌获得者,纵观本届奥运后七人制橄榄球比赛的所有参赛运动员,从体型、速度、耐力、比赛方式都和其他运动项目有所不同,所以其训练方式也会有所不同,由于七人制橄榄球的参赛人数少,场地大,既要求了身体的强壮,也要求了速度的突出,作为同场竞技对抗性运动,足球运动员的身体素质训练可以拿来作为参考,但不是完全一样。
