From December 8 to December 15, 2016, at the invitation of Prof. Lin Guangzhi, the Macau Studies Center of Macau University and Prof. Zhi-Peng Liu of the Hong Kong Institute of Local Records, Jixiangde, director of the Office of the Chinese Local Records Steering Group, headed a delegation of 6 Chinese local history academic exchanges to Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions Academic visits and exchanges, to learn more about the compilation and collection and utilization of local history and local history in Hong Kong and the Macao Special Administrative Region.
