Texas Instruments (TI) today announced that Skyworth Group, a television manufacturer and exporter, has selected TI’s Digital Television (DTV) solution for its next-generation cable high-definition digital television. Skyworth’s new DVB-C High Definition Digital Television Will be listed in the second quarter of 2005. According to the analysis report predicts that nearly 50% of the world’s television are made in China. According to iSuppli, China’s digital television will have a sustained annual growth rate of 48% between 2003 and 2008. In addition, all countries in the world must experience the transition from analogue television to digital television, necessitating the addition of digital tuners. From the consumer’s point of view
