为美化宁波市容,宁波市开始精心打造市区的“三江六岸”滨江休闲风光带。以三江口为起点,规划区域包括余姚江、奉化江、甬江三条流经城市的河流沿岸区域,即余姚江至机场路,奉化江至杭甬高速,甬江至世纪大道,全长约36公里。规划提出了打通三江六岸滨江步行断点,形成沿江连续、宽阔的散步道和健身休闲道,优化与滨江休闲带相邻城市道路的步行和绿化环境。2012年,为了提升宁波的城市品位、美化城市、促进人文建设,宁波规划部门又提出在宁波中心城区的解放桥、甬江桥、江夏桥、琴桥、灵桥、兴宁桥的桥洞设置壁画作品,希望用艺术来提升城市文化,2012年11月,笔者应邀为宁波三江六岸滨江
