我认为,一个好的舞台设计应该富有新意和戏剧性。艺术最怕老面孔。“新”对艺术的重要性不但已被许多美学家所论证,而且也被许多大师的实践所证实。我省的舞美作品拿到全国去评奖,得奖的不多,原因可能与构思不独到、缺乏新意有关。文革后,全国戏剧创作演出活动复苏,戏剧观念不断拓展。上海、北京以及一些演剧先进省区的舞台美术家,纷纷向非幻觉性、写意性寻找新语汇。而我省戏曲团体的设计骨干仍在习惯的手法——摹仿逼真,也即是景物造形的
