白细胞介素6(interleukin-6,IL-6)在造血系统的分化调控和血液系统疾病发生中占有十分重要的地位,继1987年Ikebuchi首先报导IL-6可作用于造血干细胞并促进其分化和增殖,Miyaur-a报导IL-6可以促使髓样白血病细胞向成熟分化而控制其癌性增殖,Kawano报导IL-6基因异常表达而形成自分泌环路是多发性骨髓瘤的主要致病环节,从而提示IL-6在血液系统疾病的发生和治疗中可能具有双重意义。为此我们开始观察急性粒细胞白血病人外周血自发分泌IL-6的状态,初步观察到的3例病人均自发分泌高效价IL-6。
Interleukin-6 (IL-6) occupies a very important position in the hematopoietic system differentiation and hematological diseases. Following Ikebuchi’s first report in 1987, IL-6 could act on hematopoietic stem cells and promote their differentiation Miyaur-a reported that IL-6 can promote the differentiation of myeloid leukemia cells to control the proliferation of myeloid leukemia cells. Kawano reported that the abnormal expression of IL-6 gene to form an autocrine loop is the main pathogenic part of multiple myeloma, This suggests that IL-6 may have dual significance in the pathogenesis and treatment of hematological diseases. To this end, we began to observe the status of spontaneous IL-6 secretion from peripheral blood of acute myeloid leukemia patients. All 3 patients initially observed secrete high titer IL-6.
