高职英语专业的学生应该具备良好的语言能力、熟练的业务能力和较强的跨文化交际能力。然而,绝大部分高职英语教师在教学中只注重语言知识的传授,忽视了对学生跨文化交际意识和交际能力的培养。虽然这种观念已经得到一定程度的改变,知识和能力同等重要在英语教学界也已形成共识,但如何把这种理念贯彻到高职英语教学中,采取何种策略来培养学生的跨文化交际能力成为我们面对的最大问题。
Vocational English majors should have good language skills, proficiency in business skills and strong intercultural communication skills. However, most of the English teachers in higher vocational education focus only on the teaching of language knowledge, ignoring the students’ awareness of intercultural communication and the cultivation of communicative competence.
