本文主要结合《圣经》解析了不同时代英国文学的作品,这些作品包括文艺复兴时期莎士比亚的十四行诗Sonnet 18和戏剧《威尼斯商人》,还有17世纪资产阶级革命时期弥尔顿的史诗《失乐园》,最后是维多利亚时期唯美主义代表王尔德的戏剧《莎乐美》。通过分析,我们发现不同时代的英国文学作品和《圣经》有着密切的关系,学生在学习不同时代英国文学作品时,应该了解一下《圣经》的背景和典故,这样可以有助于他们更深刻地理解作品的思想。
This paper mainly analyzes the works of British literature in different periods in combination with the Bible. These works include the reincarnation of Shakespeare’s sonnet Sonnet 18 and the drama “The Merchant of Venice” and Milton’s epic of the 17th century bourgeois revolution “ Paradise Lost, ”and finally the Salome, the play of Oscar Wilde, the Victorian aestheticist. Through the analysis, we find that British literary works of different ages are closely related to the Bible. Students should understand the background and allusions of the Bible when they study English literature in different periods so as to help them to understand more profoundly Understand the idea of the work.
