无土栽培基质常用的有蛭石、珍珠岩、岩棉、陶粒等,它们都有不少优点,但也存在一些缺点,如不易得到等。为寻找其他更易得的无土栽培基质,我们先后试用过香烟过滤嘴、泡沫塑料、烧过的煤基、碎砖块、木炭、骨头等10多种材料。经反复比较试验,我们认为焦炭是值得推荐的很好的无土栽培基质。首先,它轻重适宜。据初步测试,由于孔隙大小、密度的不同,在干燥无水时有的比水还轻,有的比水略重,比重约在1～1.3左右。搬运方便,又不易被风吹走,
Soilless culture substrate commonly used vermiculite, perlite, rock wool, ceramic, etc., they have many advantages, but there are also some shortcomings, such as difficult to get and so on. To find other more readily available soilless culture substrates, we have tested more than 10 materials, including cigarette filters, foams, burnt coal-based, broken bricks, charcoal, and bone.
