The wolfberry fruit, also known as hollyhip (Tangobang), is a kind of important resource plant that is commonly used in saddlery, and it is the dry fruit of Terminalia chebula Retz. The original plants are distributed in India, Myanmar, and Malaya, and China is found in Guangdong and Guangxi, but the number is small. The use of Chinese herbal medicines depends almost entirely on imports. In 1957, a large number of provinces were discovered in Linyi and Dehong. In 1958, the Yunnan Provincial Institute for Drug Control conducted an analysis of Linyi’s purchases, with tannins in excess of 20%, and later learned about lice.
