世界上第一个社会主义国家——苏联的经济建设飞快地发展着。在过去四十一年里,它在同资本主义国家的经济竞赛中一直取得胜利。而在未来十几年中,它更将最终地从经济水平上战胜和超过最发达的资本主义国家,特别是美国。还在苏维埃政权建立后的初期,列宁就提出了苏联的基本经济任务:要使苏联不但在工农业总产量上,而且要在按人口平均计算的产量上赶上和超过最发达的资本主义国家。苏联经济发展目前的水平,已经有可能把这个基本任务提到日程上加以解决。我们先回顾一下现有的水平是在怎样的起点上发展起来的,是十分有意义的事情。三十七年前,“真理报”在为纪念十月革命四周年而发表的社论中写道:“贫穷的、疮痍满目的、饥饿的劳动共和国正在庆祝它
The first socialist country in the world - the Soviet Union’s economic construction is developing rapidly. In the past 41 years, it has been victorious in economic competition with capitalist countries. And over the next decade or so, it will eventually defeat and surpass the most advanced capitalist countries, especially the United States, from the economic level. In the early days after the founding of the Soviet government, Lenin proposed the basic economic task of the Soviet Union: to make the Soviet Union not only catch the total output of industry and agriculture but also catch up with and surpass the capitalist countries with the most average capital output . The current level of Soviet economic development has made it possible to put this basic task on the agenda and solve it. It is very meaningful for us to start by reviewing what kind of starting point our current level of development has developed.
