At present, the international development and utilization of industrial waste has attracted more and more countries’ attention, among which the development and utilization of fly ash is particularly prominent. Because it can not only “turn waste into treasure”, it can turn waste into useful resources, but it can also “improve damages for profits” and help improve the environment and rectify environmental pollution. Denmark’s work on the development, utilization and research of fly ash is compelling. In the autumn of 1980, the translator visited Denmark. At that time, Denmark had produced large quantities of fly ash aerated concrete small blocks. The color, shape and quality of the building walls we have seen are very good. Some walls have been built for more than 10 years and the appearance is still the same as the new ones. , Swedish residential construction and concrete technology, “Building Technology”, Issue 7 of 1981). However, the use of fly ash in cement as a part of clinker and external application to concrete has almost just begun. In recent years, Denmark has made great progress in the development and application of fly ash. In May 1985, I visited Denmark again and visited Aalborg Cement Co., Ltd., which is the largest and only Danish company. I held a technical discussion with the company’s relevant personnel. The company’s research and development center was vice president of the company. Mr. Hellsson’s presentation titled “Use of Fly Ash in the Cement and Concrete Industry” gave me and my colleagues a deep impression. With the consent of the author, I specially translated his article (the translator deleted some of the non-essential content) in order to readers.
