针对焊接制造锅炉落煤筒服役早期出现变形和开裂失效的原因,提出了消失模铸造落煤筒的方案,并采取了设计“井”形防变形拉筋,加大铸件铸造倒角半径,调整优化材料的化学成分等措施。同时介绍了消失模铸造落煤筒的熔炼、浇注、模型制作、涂料涂刷和模型装箱等工艺。实践证明,研制的落煤筒使用寿命是焊接制造的1.6倍,有效地提高输煤效率和企业的经济效益。
