1954年,宁波水文站向我所提出,由於海水倒灌甬江,江水含有较多的盐分,这种含盐河水是否可用以灌溉稻田这样一个问题。这类问题不仅是甬江下游存在的,我国其他滨海种植水稻地区也有同样的情况。当然,灌溉水中盐分对水稻的影响和水稻的耐盐力是一个复杂的问题。为了了解水稻的耐盐力,我们于1954及1955年进行了初步的试验,用盆栽种植水稻,按不同的发育时期灌入不同浓度的盐水,以观察盐水对水稻生长的影响。二年的实验结果基本上是一致的。今将1955年实验的结果扼要地报告於后。
In 1954, Ningbo Hydrological Station proposed to me that due to the seawater intrusion to the Yongjiang River, the river water contains more salt, and whether such salt water can be used to irrigate the rice fields is a problem. Such problems are not only existing in the lower reaches of the Yongjiang River, but also in other coastal areas where rice is planted in our country. Of course, the effect of salinity in irrigation water on rice and salt tolerance in rice is a complex issue. In order to understand the salt tolerance of rice, we carried out preliminary experiments in 1954 and 1955. We planted rice in pots and inoculated different concentrations of saline at different developmental stages to observe the effects of salt water on rice growth. Two years of experimental results are basically the same. The results of the 1955 experiment are briefly reported hereafter.
