一个青年应当知道:所修习的功课犹如食物,必须随时把它消化,让它化为自身的血肉。一个青年更应当知道:考试只是一种测验的方法,并不是修习的目的;他必须为自身受用而修习,不该为对付考试而修习。
A young man should know that the homework to be practiced is like food and must be digested at any time to make it into its own flesh and blood. It is more important for a young man to know that a test is merely a test and not a purpose of study. He must study for his own self-study and should not practice for exams.
