佛教造像碑艺术是佛教单体石造像的一种,是北朝较为盛行的民间佛教造像形式之一。北朝河洛地区佛教造像碑的造像题记中既保留了大量的史料,又再现了这一时期民间书法艺术的风貌,是不可多得的书法艺术精品。其书法风格多样,有的刚健雄劲、气势雄强;有的圆润含蓄,疏朗开放;有的布局匀称,平稳端庄;有的随意天然、朴拙大方。它们对后世中国书法的发展产生了重要的影响。
Buddhist monument Stele is a kind of monolithic statues of Buddhist Buddhism, is one of the more popular forms of folk Buddhist statues in the Northern Dynasties.
