该糜子是我所于1977年从当地盐碱地糜子变异株中系统选育而成,1982至1983年经内蒙糜子区域联合试验,平均亩产达239公斤,比13号糜子增产11.2%,增产幅度为9.8—13%。1986年经内蒙古自治区农作物品种审定委员会审定通过,确定为推广良种。特征特性幼苗直立,叶侧伸,色深绿,株高水地为151厘米、旱地为78.2厘米,茎叶茸毛长密、成株为绿色。散穗型,穗长20—38厘米,成熟时穗枝呈粉红色。籽粒椭圆形淡黄色,千粒重7.9克左右,
